Qatar’s Defence Ministry said the country’s forces intercepted and destroyed 14 ballistic missiles and four drones from Iran today morning.
In a statement, the Ministry said the country was attacked by several projectiles, including 14 ballistic missiles and four drones, coming from Iran.
“Thanks to God, our Armed Forces successfully intercepted 13 missiles, while the last one fell in the territorial waters of Qatar,” the Ministry said in a statement.
Four drones were also intercepted successfully without any human casualties.
“The Ministry further emphasized that Qatar Armed Forces possessed full capabilities and resources to safeguard the nation’s sovereignty and territory, and to respond firmly to any external threat.”
The ministry also asked citizens, residents, and visitors to ‘remain calm, adhere to official instructions issued by the security authorities, avoid rumors, and rely solely on information released through official channels.’
