Following temporary authorisation from the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority confirming a safe operating corridor, Qatar Airways said it will operate a limited number of incoming flights to the Hamad International Airport on March 8.

The airlines, in the statement, said flights will come in from London, Paris, Madrid, Rome, Frankfurt, and Bangkok. These flights are only for passengers whose final destination is Doha. Passengers can visit the Qatar Airways website or App or a travel agent to book the flights.

The Airlines further clarified that these flights do not constitute a confirmation of resumption of scheduled commercial operations.

Passengers are kindly asked not to arrive at their departure airport unless they hold a valid confirmed ticket for travel.

Qatar Airways said the safety and well-being of its passengers and crew remain its highest priority during this period of disruption. It apologised for the inconvenience caused by the current situation, which it said was beyond its control.

Qatar Airways’ scheduled flight operations remain temporarily suspended due to the closure of Qatari airspace. Qatar Airways will resume full operations once the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority announces the safe full reopening of Qatari airspace by the relevant authorities. A further update will be provided on March 8, by 9AM Doha time.
