Starting tomorrow, Thursday, November 6, 2025, the Ministry of Municipality's Agricultural Affairs Department is launching its 2025/2026 season of local produce markets.

This initiative is a core part of Qatar's plan to strengthen food security and aligns with Qatar National Vision 2030. The markets serve as a direct channel for farmers to sell their harvests to the public, ensuring fair returns for the farmers and providing consumers with the freshest products at good prices by cutting out middlemen.

• When to Visit: Every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

• Where to Find Them: Markets will be open in Al Khor, Al Thakhira, Al Wakrah, Al Shamal, and Al Shahaniya. The Al Mazrouah market will continue to operate year-round.

• What's Available: A wide variety of seasonal vegetables, natural honey, dates, and other locally-produced goods.

• Experience: The markets are fully equipped with shaded areas, facilities, and organized parking for a comfortable experience. Specialized inspection teams will also be on-site to guarantee product quality and standards.

The public is encouraged to visit these markets to enjoy fresh national produce and play a direct role in supporting Qatari agriculture and the nation's goal of self-sufficiency.
