As fun as traveling is, certain procedures at the airport such as immigration, baggage screening, waiting to board, can be quite frustrating, particularly during peak seasons.

Bearing this in mind and to bring an extraordinary airport experience to travelers at Hamad International Airport (HIA), Qatar Airways launched Al Maha Services in 2015.

A Meet and Assist service, Al Maha Services, combines comfort, care, and luxury to offer a fast-track airport experience to travelers departing, arriving or transiting through HIA.

If you’re looking for a personalized, hassle-free experience during your travels through HIA, Al Maha Services offers just the right kind of solution for your needs.

With a team of dedicated agents, Al Maha Services gives travelers the opportunity to enjoy a peaceful, friendly and reliable travel journey.

Al Maha Services will take care of all your arrival or departure formalities at HIA while you unwind at one of the Al Maha Executive lounges.

These spaces serve as the perfect spot for travelers to relax, indulge in a variety of food and drinks, and socialize. The lounges offer free Wi-Fi, as well as some quiet spaces and passengers, can make use of the facility for up to 6 hours.

Al Maha Services must be pre-booked and are available in two different categories for passengers at HIA: Gold (Arrival/Departure) or Platinum (Arrival/Departure). This is in addition to the Family Package.

Below are the details of each category:

Gold Arrival

Passengers who opt for this service can approach the Al Maha Services Arrivals Airside Lounge upon arrival. They can relax in the lounge while formalities are taken care of.

They can also enjoy porter services at the baggage claim area before being escorted to their receiving party.

To enhance the distinctive experience, you can ask for a medium or large-sized flower bouquet with a greeting card to be added to the service if you’re booking it for a loved one (extra charges will apply).

Platinum Arrival

Those who choose the Platinum Service upon arrival at HIA will find an Al Maha Services Hostess waiting for them at the aerobridge (front exit of the aircraft) with a personalized name board. If the aircraft is parked at a remote bay, the Al Maha Services Hostess will welcome customers at the bottom of the front stairs of the aircraft.

From that moment on, they will escort customers to the Al Maha Services Arrivals Airside Lounge, where they can relax while immigration formalities are taken care of.

They will be provided with Porter Service at the baggage claim area, and later escorted to their receiving party.

Under the Platinum Service, passengers can enjoy additional access to the Al Maha Services Landside lounge for up to 4 hours.

Gold Departure

When you select the Gold Departure package, expect to meet an Al Maha Services Hostess with a personalized name board at the departures hall. Your hostess will assist with expedited check-in and immigration.

You will also be provided Porter Service for your baggage.

You will then be escorted to Al Maha Services Departure Lounge where you can wait until the aircraft is ready to board.

Under this package, you will have priority boarding and will receive assistance until the boarding gate.

Platinum Departure

Services in the Platinum Departure category include: Al Maha Services Hostess meets you at the departures hall, porter assistance for luggage, and assistance with check-in formalities.

Passengers who select this service will also be able to enjoy expedited immigration clearance and can access the Al Maha Services Departure Lounge for up to 6 hours.

They will have priority boarding and will receive assistance until the aerobridge/aircraft.

Gold Transit

For the Gold Transit, you will find an Al Maha Services Hostess at the aerobridge/aircraft upon arrival.

The package includes Fast track transit formalities, priority boarding, and escort to the boarding gate.

Platinum Transit

For the Platinum Transit, you will find an Al Maha Services Hostess at the aerobridge/aircraft upon arrival.

The package includes Fast track transit formalities, access to Al Maha Services Transit Lounge for up to 6 hours, priority boarding and escort to the aerobridge/aircraft.

The transit lounge provides passengers with several facilities including food and beverages, reading materials, television area, business center, complimentary Wi-Fi, and shower facilities.
